BAR. NEKU OPUTE

Bar. Neku Opute is a legal and security consultant. He has an extensive range of experience in his chosen field of security and cooperate legal practice for over 40 years. Served with the Nigerian police Force at various Departments including Force CID headquarters as a detective and officer at state command and police colleges. Retired as a superior police officer (SPO) after about 21 years to join Chevron Nigeria Ltd in 1991. While in CNL, Bar Neku Opute worked at CNL Operation Headquarters of security Department for over 10 years and was a team player of ESC operations Management team and became overall Chevron Security General Manager in Lagos. After about 14 ½ years of meritorious service for CNL, he voluntarily retired in the year 2005. He was later appointed GM with G4S, an International Security Organization based in Nigeria though spread across over 34 countries in the world. Within G4S, he held other positions such as Regional Manager and legal counsel before resigning to join his close Legal and Security Associates in NOEL Chambers where they all practice Legal and Security Consultancy. He is the current Managing Partner. He holds HND in Business Administration from the foremost college of Technology, Yaba College of Technology, Lagos; an LLB from the University of Benin, and BL from the Nigeria Law School. He is well traveled with vast international exposure. Bar. Neku Opute is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) and also the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He is currently the Chairman Board of Directors C-3V Holdings Ltd. He hails from Abbi in Ndokwa West LGA, Delta State. He is happily married with children.
